The first thing one may notice when visiting Jakarta is that a large number of roads are paved with paving blocks, known locally as 'Conbloc'. Few realize, however, that the name 'conbloc' originated from our company who, in the 1970's, pioneered the introduction of precast paving blocks for road building and paving works.
The company, PT Conbloc Indonesia, was established in 1974. The company prides itself as a being both pioneer and innovator in the field of road construction technology. For nearly a quarter century we have established a proven track record of dedication and commitment to the infrastructure development in Indonesia. Today, it is one of the country's leading partners in the development of paving and road construction technology.
From its humble beginnings as a manufacturer of 'conbloc', it has expanded into a fully integrated group of companies. It is now a multi-dimensional business group which comprises ten (10) business lines, operating in a wide range of business activities from general road construction to mine planning consultancy. One thing that has remained unchanged is the tradition of pioneering and innovation through continued introduction of innovative concepts, particularly in construction technology and the development of environmentally-friendly design. Through this approach the Conbloc Group has stayed not one but two steps ahead of its competitors.
The Conbloc Group continues to expand even now. Globalization and free trade practices have changed the business environment both domestically and internationally. In anticipation of its continued expansion, the groups have restructured its operations creating a solid and autonomously managed group of business units, supported by professional management teams and highly-skilled personnel.
